3M Scotchlok 951 952 cable connectors
The 3M Scotchlok connector creates a pluggable branch with excellent electrical values on an existing, uncut power line without any stripping. The conductors to be connected are led into the connector and by applying slight pressure with a prong, the inner U-elements remove the insulation, enlarge the contact area, and establish contact with the conductor. The wires are individually enclosed due to the spring-loaded U-element and a vibration-proof and permanent connection is created.
The Scotchlok connector is mainly used in installation, control, measurement, and regulation technology. Switchgear manufacturers, electrical engineers and hobbyists and screwdrivers have long known about the great advantages and benefits of connectors. The flat plug required for a branch is not included in the delivery.
