The reclosable fastener dots SJ 3550 from 3M Dual Lock offer maximum security and load-bearing capacity with the smallest dimensions. The points have a diameter of 20 mm and are delivered in a packaging unit of 16 pieces. The special thing about this fastening system is the extremely high load-bearing capacity, which is concentrated in a small space and enables permanently durable but easily detachable connections between two components.
This is a so-called "one-component system". This means that the points can be connected to each other by themselves. Due to their self-adhesive back, they can be attached to almost any surface. Before application, the surface should be cleaned thoroughly and free of grease to ensure maximum adhesive strength. Once attached, the points can be separated and reconnected up to 1000 times without loss of adhesion. This connection is vibration and tensile resistant and dampens vibration and noise.
