Corning Scotchlok UB2A cable connector
The 3M connector UB2A has a unique U-contact, which enables a quick and reliable electrical connection without having to strip or twist the wire. As the U-contact is pressed into the connector, it penetrates the insulation and encloses the conductors, creating a spring-loaded connection. In addition, the branch connector has a “pre-crimp function” and is therefore particularly timesaving to use.
It is mainly used for telecommunication and signal cables, whereby wires with a conductor diameter of 0.4 mm² to 0.9 mm² can be connected, the outer diameter must not exceed 2.08 mm. The sealant core repels moisture and protects the composite from corrosion.
